How to Stay at Anniversary Inn for Cheap

If you have ever wanted to visit somewhere with just you and your sweetheart such as the Taj Mahal or Hawaii but couldn’t quite afford to travel there? Then the Anniversary Inn is the place for you!
Imagine this: You walk in to the front office and being greeted by a kind receptionist who offers you warm chocolate chip cookies while you check in. As you are checking in and eating that deliciously warm chocolate chip cookie you are asked what you want for your breakfast the next morning as well as when you want it brought to your room at no additional cost. You choose from a wide variety of what to eat and are then given your key to your room. The receptionist then informs you that you can borrow up to three movies for free for the night you are there. You take your belongings to your room with your sweetheart following and open the lock with your key. The first thing you see when you walk in is that you really are walking into a new adventure! As you tour the room you see the wide, deep jetted tub. The king bed looks extremely inviting.
Now isn’t that a great visualization? Let’s get in to the details. At the Anniversary Inn there are themed rooms. Jake and I just so happened to choose the Taj Mahal room this go around. We have stayed a dozen times in a dozen different rooms over the past year. How have we managed to do that you might ask? Well, I will let you in on a little secret. Anniversary Inn has a fantastic bounce back deal where you can get a gift certificate that is good for 5 YEARS within 24 hours of your stay. A weekend gift certificate (Friday-Sunday) is $189 and weekdays (Monday-Thursday) is $149. The gift certificates are good for ANY room whether it be an emerald room or a diamond suite.
Jake and I buy the weekend bounce back in that 24 hour window and use it the next time we want or need a getaway. We have not paid full price for a room since the first time we stayed with Anniversary Inn.
The Anniversary Inn has four locations. Two locations, South Temple and 5th South, are in Salt Lake City, Utah. One location is in Logan, Utah and the last location is in Boise, Idaho. We have stayed in the 5th South and Logan locations. Both have dining and entertainment close.
Let’s not forget that they have additional packages that you can add on based on the location you are at. We chose to go with the “Date Night Package” which was $30 and gave us a bucket of popcorn, two Coca Cola products of our choosing, two candy bars of our choosing, and the choice of either an early checkin or a late checkout. Other options are found in the photo below:
Oh and did I mention that check out is at noon? No, that is not late checkout. That is the time that everyone can checkout. The late checkout time is 2 pm. They also give you sparkling cider and two slices of plain cheesecake, one is drizzled with strawberry and one is drizzled with chocolate. Isn’t that great?!
Another tip, order food to your room from either a food location or from DoorDash or something similar. We have found that this is a great way for us to eat something that isn’t room service but still get the most out of your stay.
If you are ready to book a getaway with your sweetheart you can find all booking and additional information here.

The Anniversary Inn sounds a lot like the Destinations Inn in Idaho that we go to often. I LOVE these kinds of places! That’s cool about the bounce back. Thanks for sharing!
